Cory Hunnicut brought a wealth of experience to Thomas E. Hall & Associates, Inc., when he joined the firm in early 2006. Since then, he has designed the interiors for:

Prior to joining Thomas E. Hall & Associates, and while a design principal at Daroff Design, his creative interior design solutions and planning expertise were evidenced in the following major area landmark projects:

Murano Condominiums, Philadelphia, PA - Interior Designer/Architect for the residential units and building lobby, including planning, schematics, design development and lighting design for this 302-unit luxury condominium tower.

Comcast Headquarters, Philadelphia, PA Designer/Planner for typical workplace floors through concept and initial pricing, as well as the initial design development of the executive areas, conference center, and cafeteria.
As an independent practitioner, he worked with the School District of Philadelphia on the planning and design of their new administrative offices, office renovations for Electronics Boutique, a new retail store prototype for BC Sports Collectibles, and miscellaneous residential projects.
During his 10 year tenure with Kling (formerly Kling Lindquist) of Philadelphia, Cory was an Associate and a Design Director of the Interiors Studio. Cory’s design leadership enabled the Kling Interiors Studio to become one of the most prominent Interiors practices in the region. Some of his many projects while there included:

Lead designer and project architect for the 45,000 SF atrium renovation linking 500K SF of office space and additionally the designer for miscellaneous feasibility studies for renovations to other office buildings on the campus.

Lead Designer and Project Architect for Kling’s new, 5,000 SF, Raleigh, NC office.

ID design direction for 750,000 SF Headquarters and administrative office addition including offices, executive suite, conference center, cafeteria, kitchens, coffee bar, fitness center, video production studio, medical suite and company store.

Cory received his Bachelor of Architecture and his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from Ball State University, College of Architecture and Planning, Muncie, IN.
He has been a registered architect in Pennsylvania since 1991, is a member of the American Institute of Architects, has extensive teaching experience, and has been a guest critic/lecturer at several universities.
Cory has been a guest speaker at NeoCon, the premier U.S. trade show and conference for interior design, where in 2003 he presented “Mega-Facilities - Designing a Corporate Campus,” a presentation based on the Merrill Lynch Hopewell Campus as a case study.
He has won four ASID Philadelphia Chapter awards with his previous firms and been published in several prestigious magazines, such as Contract and Progressive Architecture.
