DEERFIELD CORPORATE CENTER
Positioning the buildings within a very narrow site became our focus early on. Resting beside a nature preserve, this classical building façade is composed of precast-concrete panels connected to a steel frame. A 65’ curved glass wall placed behind a flying-spandrel beam acts as an archway for the main entrance. Slender aluminum window mullions run horizontally across the curved wall, reinforcing its contoured shape. A triple-bay window tower element flanks each side of the main entrance and terminates each end of the face, providing stability similar to a bookend across this massive three-story façade.
