Our client came to us for a complete redesign with several goals: the building needed to act as a bookend to the more contemporary looking Radnor Hotel with its long horizontal lines, create an urban, upscale “look” but with a traditional flavor, and find a way to rent the first floor to retail tenants who required full storefront exposure and the upper floors to office users. The result is a beautiful brick building featuring exposed pilasters, cast-stone concrete detailing at the first floor arcade, window heads, and rooftop cornice.
